The SMART TOUCH exit device provides the ultimate in egress safety for electromagnetically locked doors. The simple act of touching the bar (even through gloves or clothing) trips the electronic sensor that releases the lock. No tight pinching, grasping, twisting of the wrist, or pressure is required to operate.

The touch-senesitive area that releases the lock can conveniently be placed between the required 15-in. above floor and below 48-in. above floor for accessibility. Durable, "no moving parts" electronic design provides superior reliability and performance.

The SMART TOUCH bar is available in most architectural finishes and many design variations. The exit device meets "no tools or prior knowledge" code requirements as a part of its safety engineered design.

The SMART TOUCH exit device is UL-listed for both immediate and delayed egress access control systems.
